Javier Odriozola, general director of sports of the Madrid City Council, has been combining his work with the hobby of running for a long time. “What I do is take half an hour of sleep in the mornings and I’m going to train, I try to prioritize the quality of the training, at this age the spark is more needed than kilometers,” says Odriozola.

For the councilor of sports, athletics is synonymous with joy. “When you start the day doing physical activity, you go to work with spirit and spirit of satisfaction, I feel privileged to run through the park and enjoy the moon while I jog,” he adds.
